Times Media, the publishers of The Times, The Sunday Times and Times Online, today announces the appointment of Giles Ivey as Digital Commercial Director.
It is a completely new role and Ivey will be responsible for all digital advertising revenue as well as maximising all other commercial opportunities across Times Online. He will report into Dominic Carter, Trading Director, Times Media and Zach Leonard, Digital Director.
Ivey joins Times Media from AOL where he has been Head of UK Sales since July 2006, responsible for the management of the whole of AOL’s UK commercial business including e-commerce, advertising operations and strategy and research. Ivey has nearly 20 years experience in Sales and has worked in the digital sector since 2003 when he joined AOL as Sales Director.

Giles is a proven commercially astute, strategic thinker who can set and deliver the digital commercial strategy for Times Media.
