Times Media today announces that it is launching a new series of business podcasts sponsored by IBM.
The new campaign follows the success of the IBM The Best of the MBA campaign which ran in The Times and at Times Online last year and has been shortlisted in the Media Week Awards 2007 Sales Pitch (Niche) category.
The second series of business podcasts is entitled Twelve Business Ideas that are Changing the World. This new series will hear from 12 influential business figures from a wide range of sectors as they explain an idea that they think is fundamentally changing the way we do business today.
The series launches with Jean-Pierre Garnier, Chief Executive of Glaxo SmithKline discussing medicine in the developing world. The second episode will be Ian Davis, Managing Director of McKinsey talking about Government as a business. Other speakers will include Mervyn Davies, Chief Executive of Standard Chartered Bank, Sir Ronald Cohen, Founding partner of Private equity firm Apax, Ben Verwaayen, CEO of BT and Arun Sarin, CEO of Vodafone and Stuart Rose, Chief Executive of Marks&Spencers.
The series will also be covered in the paper and online with The Times’ specialist writers looking behind the themes and providing analysis.
